Similar to it’s family member of Baby Grands, the R8.  The RS 160 is from the superior line at 5 foot, 3 inches, slightly larger to the RS150.

The RS 160 Superior Line – Baby Grand is perfected by a European design team made with high quality components including a tapered sound board from hand selected spruce, German Roslau string wire and premium hammer felts made in Japan. They offer excellent sound quality and tuning stability and are ideally suited for anyone with high demands regarding acoustic performance and playability. Fitted with the world renowned Pearl River Action.

The unusual shape of the rim of this grand piano allows expansion of the soundboard area producing a performance quality tone. This model has become the choice of many teachers and performers where space is a limiting factor.

Manufactured in the most reputable Pearl River Factory it has been re-engineered with quality components, the range of upgrades includes plate modification to accommodate new scales, new calculated string lengths, slow-fall fallboard and much more.
